AN UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FOR VENICE
COCO NOIR by Chanel is an “Eau de Parfum” for women that is included in the Chypre Floral family . With its aroma marked by sensual earthy notes, the brand expresses the love of its founder for the picturesque and artistic Venice, a city that marked her life by becoming a means of escape and evasion in the face of a tragic event.
Gabrielle Chanel, better known as Coco, fell deeply in love with the city of canals, as it was her salvation from the death of her lover. After hearing about the event, he immediately traveled to Venice to escape and get away from his surroundings, and at that moment another deep romance was born, this time established with the city itself, its art, its buildings and its people.
For this reason, and in tribute to the purity of said love, the House decided to pay tribute to the place where Coco spent some of the happiest moments of her life, a place where she began to live again and prompted her to fly towards the highest.
The result was, is and will be an exquisite essence enveloped by an aura of mystery and enigma, with a nocturnal and bewitching character, an aroma linked to sophistication and elegance, which expresses through the power of flowers a new concept of absolute femininity.
HIS STELE. Its olfactory pyramid begins with a citrus accord that is highly praised among the public, consisting of bergamot, grapefruit and orange. Next, with its heart a delicate and very feminine floral bouquet unfolds, starring rose, jasmine, narcissus and geranium. Finally, its cycle ends with a warm and sexy base, with notes such as vanilla, patchouli and white musk.
LOVE FOR THE SMALL DETAILS. The COCO NOIR bottle shows us once again, the Maison's great care for small details. This one follows the same lines as those of his entire family, but on this occasion, its glass is tinted an intense black color. On it rest small golden appliqués and engravings, alluding to a world in which luxury and good taste reign.
A LITTLE HISTORY. This fragrance was launched in 2012, by perfumers Chistopher Sheldrake and Jacques Polgue. The latter has led the firm's perfumery sector for 35 years. However, after his retirement, his position was revoked to his son, who from a young age showed a great passion for this world and followed without a moment's hesitation the same steps as his father.
